Grays KN10 ProBow Xtreme (2019/20)

Grays KN10 ProBow Xtreme (2019/20)

The Grays KN10 Probow Xtreme is an extremely powerful stick, suited for the advanced hockey player looking for a the best in the market. Its 100% carbon does pack a punch, but at a £400 RRP price tag, it is seriously let down in the value for money category.

The new Grays KN10 Probow Xtreme is the most powerful hockey stick in this range. It also comes packed full of innovative technology, including TRI-TECTM carbon fibres, and the Kinetic core core technology which distributes weight more evenly making it a fantastic stick to pick up.

The Probow Xtreme mould is a standard low bow, which makes it easy to use for all styles of play and is more suited to the playmaker on the hockey pitch. This mould type does have a contour on the face, which will really help with controlling the ball during dragflicks and disguised passes. However, it’ll take a little getting used to when you slap the ball as it can make the ball bump over the ground.

The jet black finish can divide opinion on the design side. Some say it looks crisp and clean, but it could also be seen as a lazy design, that aside, it feels great in your hand.

At 100% carbon, this stick will pack some serious power into your shots, but be warned, if you haven’t used a 100% carbon stick before, it may feel a bit alien to begin with. You’ll soon get used to it after a few practices.

The only negative of this stick is the price. At a whopping £400 RRP, you’ll have to raid yours, your brothers and sisters piggy bank to pay for it.

KN COLLECTION
Sticks in the KN range feature Kinetic Core Technology at the epicentre of each stick, which allows a complete redistribution of weight, creating a light and nimble pickup.

This technology is designed primarily for progressive and fast-paced 3D styles of play. Tri-Tec carbon weave and Graphene reinforcement ensure that the KN range offers optimum combinations of balance, feel and power.
